What notary fees must you pay when purchasing your land?

The construction of a new house does not incur any legal fees other than at the time of purchasing the land.

Using the following table, you can estimate the notary fees you will pay at the time of purchasing your land.

Registration fees in the Flemish region are lower. Deduct 2% of the price of the land from the legal fees.

And for a mortgage loan?

A mortgage loan requires a notarial deed and is subject to notarial and registration fees.

Examples::

  • €4,555.00 (Notary fees on mortgage deed).
